Hannah
Madsen
Founder
Angel Sharp was set up by Hannah as a way of combining her experience and expertise in one media company.
Hannah's main focus is film producing and video journalism, but she has previously worked in the design department at Oxford University Press, as a photography assistant to Richard Burbridge in New York, a network engineer for the dotcom ADC in Menlo Park, and as director and producer of large-scale professional theatre productions.
TRISTAN
DAVIS
Producer Director
Tristan brings a wide range of genre experience to Angel Sharp with an MA in Directing & Producing TV from NFTS, and an MA in Film & TV from Bristol University.
He has previously worked at Netflix as a Production Secretary, and as Showrunners' Assistant for large scale Amazon Studio productions. Tristan has also been invited to pitch to Sky and Discovery+ and had a sitcom pilot funded by BBC Studios.
JonATHAN
Brodie
Head of Editorial
With a degree in film and television production from RMIT University Australia, Jonathan interned at SBS News before moving to the UK, where he worked as assistant director on a range of productions, such as 20th Century Fox's Gulliver's Travels, and BBC2's Henry IV.
He has helmed projects all across the globe, for charities, brands and academic organisations.
Jonathan produces, animates, and brings editing expertise, having taught Final Cut Pro and Premiere.
Paul
Moth-Jones
Producer Director
With a BA in Film from the University of the Creative Arts, Paul then worked at creative agency Final Cut for 10 years on TV commercials, music videos and short films.
He was responsible for both bringing in clients and overseeing large edit projects for clients such as Gorillaz, Cadburys, The Guardian and Honda. Paul also worked for Nowness Experiments with video artist Marco Brambilla.

Producer Director
A producer, director, and production designer with 15 years’ experience working on feature films, promos, and commercials, Anna completed her MA at the NFTS and was honoured as a BAFTA 'Brit to Watch' for her multidisciplinary work.
Anna has worked on national and international productions including BAFTA–winning and Oscar–nominated feature film Theeb. Most recently, Anna was the Design and Creative Manager for Bletchley Park Trust.

Producer Director
Villo is a writer director specialising in fiction, who recently graduated with an MA in Directing Fiction from the NFTS. Her debut short won the Best Student Film Award at the European Independent Film Festival and she was nominated for the Young Director Award (YDA) in Cannes in 2022.
Villo brings a bold experimental style to Angel Sharp, having previously also worked in the production and research departments on feature documentaries.
Guy
Hawkins
Editor Cinematographer (Freelance)
With a degree in Video and Creative Writing from Buckinghamshire New University, Guy then worked in-house for ten years at creative agencies on product advertising, branded content, drama, and animation films.
Guy has worked on a huge range of Angel Sharp’s flagship films for 5 years bringing a wealth of cinematic flair, visual panache and technical expertise, both as an editor and cinematographer.
Holly
STIMSON
Editor (Freelance)
With a BAFTA-nomination under her belt for her TV editing, Holly has a great passion for creative exploration and a speedy cutting technique. A regular editor for BBC One and BBC Two, she edits a wide range of editorial, journalistic and creative long-form and short-form projects.
For Angel Sharp she has worked on some of our key human-story short docs. Holly has a degree in Media Arts from Royal Holloway and previously worked for a range of indies at Pinewood Studios as an online and offline editor.
Joy
von Waldenfels
Producer Director (Freelance)
With a background as a high-end fashion photographer, Joy refined her film making skills studying cinematography at Orms Cape Town School of Photography in South Africa.
As a native speaker of both German and English, Joy has worked in fast-paced production houses across four countries, creating branded entertainment and social media campaigns for the likes of Microsoft, Samsung and McDonalds.
Sam
Bassett
Director Editor (Freelance)
A graduate of the Media & Culture course at the University of the Arts London, Sam built on his experience in film production as an assistant director by setting up Kus Visual, with who he produced promos for a range of cutting-edge clients – from viral comedy to contemporary fashion.
As part of the directing duo Neon Kiss he has explored contemporary global stories in a string of resonant documentaries, and he now lends his self-producing experience and distinctive visual flair to Angel Sharp as a director and editor.

HALE
Cinematographer (Freelance)
A cinematographer and camera-operator, Adam has almost 20 years of filmmaking experience since studying Communications at Lincoln University.
A former lecturer in photography, video production and media studies, Adam has managed the ELT video post-production workflow for Oxford University Press across international markets, and been the cinematographer on multiple award-winning short films and music videos.
Maria Galliani

Producer Director (Freelance)
With a BA in Film & TV Production from the University of Bergen, an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford, and a diploma in Script Development from the NFTS, Maria brings a raft of directing, producing and scripting experience to Angel Sharp.
Fluent in English, Norwegian and Italian, she previously co-founded award-winning Smau Media and worked in production for TV2 Norway. Maria has acted as a script consultant on the prestigious screenwriting competition Thousand Films, and as a creative writer for the Google Assistant personality team.

Finance & Accounts (Freelance)
Running AMT Accounting Ltd, Andrew comes in weekly to manage the accounts and financial operations for Angel Sharp. As a qualified ACCA accountant, he works for a wide range of clients in Oxfordshire, bringing extensive expertise and a solution-focused approach.
