We have long term relationships with the Natural History Museum (London), the Ashmolean Museum and Modern Art Oxford, regularly producing both promos, installations and documentaries to support their exhibitions and permanent collections. We also have been commisioned by Liverpool Museums, the Royal Collection Trust, the Museum of Natural History (Oxford), and the Story Museum to make campaigns to help increase visitor numbers, raise donor engagement, and increase digital access to collections.
Welcome to Modern Art Oxford
A luminous and dynamic montage with upbeat music, that sets people at the centre of the art experience through cinematic shots of audience members, light tones and focussing on different areas of the Modern Art Oxford building, including the cafe and gift shop as well as the galleries. All audience members shown in the video were cast by us in collaboration with the client.
Ashmolean Hero Video
A bold introduction to the UK’s oldest museum, this evocative 90-second video takes you on a journey through the Ashmolean’s half a million years of art and history – through the eyes of a wide range of visitors.
Bodleian: The Weston Library – A space for all
Following its £80m transformation, we were asked to help showcase the library’s new fully-accessible public spaces. We crafted a poetic text-led promo film, empahsising how open and welcoming the Bodleian Weston Library now is. Beautiful and dynamic, the film shows a breadth of visitors enjoying the exhibition galleries, special collections and treasures.
Marina Abramović – Modern Art Oxford
We worked directly with Marina Abramović’s team to create a 30-second promo and a mini documentary to accompany her site-specific performance-based Modern Art Oxford exhibition. The films celebrate the presence of the audience through the artist’s intent, and followed a research residency at the Pitt Rivers Museum.
Secret Architecture of Oxford University's Museum of Natural History
The musuem approached us to create something cheeky and humourous – we crafted this voiceover-led exploration of the architechtural secrets of the Oxford Museum of Natural History through beautiful visuals but also fast-paced editing and quirky shots.
‘The Life Behind…’ – London Natural History Museum
In collaboration with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), we were asked to improve the Museum’s digital content about biodiversity for pre-teens. We created a suite of films for the NHM’s digital portfolio – upbeat and well humoured – a blend of animation and live-action footage to uncover the ‘life behind’ some familiar everyday items!
