The Royal Premiere of the film was held at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square in aid of Missing Persons Helpline. FINBAR was distributed round the world by Buena Vista. The soundtrack is available on Snapper Records.

The DVD (which containing many extras including location footage and interviews with Sue and with Jonathan Rhys Meyers) will be available in major stores from Autumn 2002, distributed by Film Four.
