The music for Hansel and Gretel has been originally composed by Jack White. The music is vital as it will be playing for much of the performance, and is the heartbeat of the enchanted forest.

The music ranges from the gentle music-box tune that opens the play to the deep atmospheric music that is heard when Hansel and Gretel are lost in the forest, and from the lullaby that Gretel sings to send Hansel to sleep to the witch's victory song when she has captured the children.
