The Cast of 'Europe' |
|
Andy
King - Horse
Andy's
time at Oxford has seen him perform in roles as diverse as Harpo Marx
in Animal Crackers – which transferred profitably to the Edinburgh
Fringe 2002 – and 'B' in Sarah Kane's Crave (which went on to win
several awards at the National Student Drama Festival 2002). He's also
been a winner of the New Writing Festival with Rob Phoned (2001) as well
as writing the script for the Oxford Gargoyles’ a capella musical
Inflatable Bliss (2002). Andy has performed previously at the Playhouse
as a hapless Eastern European mute servant in The Miser (2001) and as
Moritz in Spring Awakening (2002); he was last directed by Ilan Goodman
in Louis de Berniere's Sunday Morning At The Centre Of The World at the
Burton Taylor (2002). He's just returned from a year in the Czech Republic,
as part of his degree in English Literature and Czech with Slovak. Andy
is a member of the NYT. |

Colin
Burnie - Sava
Colin
Burnie made his stage debut as a daffodil at the age of four, an experience
which gave him an appetite for acting and led him to train (much later)
at the New College of Speech and Drama in Hampstead. After several years
teaching Drama and English in London, Milan and finally Oxford, he turned
into a tax inspector. However, he has satisfied his love of acting by
appearing regularly on the stage. In the past twelve months he has played
Colonel Redfern in Look Back in Anger, Satan in The Mysteries, Neils Bohr
in Copenhagen (all at the Old Fire Station), The Player in Rosencrantz
and Guildenstern are Dead (Oxford Playhouse), and Malvolio in Twelfth
Night at the open-air theatre, Pangbourne. |
Gethin
Anthony - Berlin
Gethin
Anthony is a second year English student at Balliol and Co-President of
the Oxford University Drama Society. In his first year at Oxford, Gethin
acted in Time at the Bar, Some Voices, Bang, Bang You're Dead!, Loot and
The Bald Prima Donna at the Burton Taylor theatre. He also acted in Popcorn
at the OFS and As You Like It at the Playhouse. This year, Gethin looks
forward not only to performing in Europe, but also to hopefully running
a successful Drama Cuppers competition with the rest of the OUDS committee. |
